Câu chuyện về chàng sinh viên Nguyễn Đức Huy (SN 1992) đã qua đời cách đây khoảng 1 tháng vì đột quỵ nhưng được Ban Giám Hiệu trường Đại học Dân lập Văn Lang (TP. HCM) đặc cách trao tấm bằng tốt nghiệp quý giá với chức danh Kiến trúc sư đang khiến nhiều người xúc động.

Giảng viên trực tiếp bảo vệ đồ án tốt nghiệp khi Đức Huy qua đời

Khi nhắc lại về buổi lễ trao bằng tốt nghiệp cho Huy vào ngày 28/6, TS. Hoàng Hồng Hà -  Giám đốc Trung tâm thông tin trường ĐH Văn Lang vẫn chưa hết xúc động kể lại khoảnh khắc người cha lên nhận bằng thay con đã òa khóc và tất cả mọi người chứng kiến cũng khóc theo.

"Khi Huy mất trong quá trình làm đồ án tốt nghiệp, toàn thể cán bộ giảng viên, sinh viên của trường đều vô cùng thương tiếc. Cậu ấy rất say mê đồ án, luôn tìm tòi học hỏi những cái mới. Sự khát khao khẳng định sức trẻ, đam mê và tâm huyết với nghề, với công việc luôn có trong Huy. Đây là một mất mát lớn với gia đình và Nhà trường đã làm hết sức để tri ân những sản phẩm mà em sinh viên này đạt được", TS. Hồng Hà chia sẻ.

Vị Giám đốc Trung tâm thông tin của trường ĐH Văn Lang cũng cho biết, sinh viên Nguyễn Đức Huy (lớp K16A01) nhận đồ án tốt nghiệp trong 8 tuần. Chấm đề án tốt nghiệp có 2 vòng gồm sơ khảo và chung khảo. Huy đã xuất sắc vượt qua vòng đầu tiên khi được Hội đồng chấm điểm đánh giá cao. Đến ngày 2/6 Huy đột ngột qua đời tại phòng trọ (TP. HCM) trong sự bàng hoàng tiếc thương của bạn bè và thầy cô. "Ngày 6/6 là ngày bảo vệ đồ án tốt nghiệp trước Hội đồng, thế mà...", TS. Hồng Hà nghẹn ngào. 

Khi Huy qua đời, giảng viên của Huy đã trực tiếp đứng lên bảo vệ đồ án tốt nghiệp để sinh viên của mình hoàn thành chặng đường cuối cùng. Lúc đó, đồ án tốt nghiệp của Huy được chấm điểm 7,5 và điểm trung bình chung học tập suốt 5 năm đạt 7.11.

Theo TS. Hồng Hà, với những nỗ lực không biết mệt mỏi trong suốt 5 năm học ngành Kiến Trúc tại trường ĐH Văn Lang, những kết quả mà Đức Huy đạt được thật sự khiến người khác ngưỡng mộ. Đối với ngành kiến trúc có thời gian đào tạo dài nhất trong trường, có rất nhiều sinh viên nợ môn nhưng Huy là một trong số ít sinh viên hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ học tập cũng như rèn luyện suốt thời gian học tập. Trường hợp nhận bằng tốt nghiệp của Huy là đúng quy trình và trình tự theo quy chế của Bộ GD & ĐT, đủ điều kiện để công nhận Kiến trúc sư. 

Mặc dù đủ điện kiện tốt nghiệp nhưng Huy đã mất trước đó nên Ban Giám Hiệu trường ĐH Văn Lang vẫn muốn tổ chức trao bằng tốt nghiệp cho cậu sinh viên xuất sắc của trường, Nhà trường đã hội ý và ban đầu, mọi người nghĩ có thể mời phụ huynh của Đức Huy đến văn phòng nhận bằng để hạn chế khơi gợi sự đau buồn. Nhưng cuối cùng, Nhà trường vẫn giữ nguyên quyết định phải xướng tên của Huy trong lễ tốt nghiệp như bao sinh viên khác. Đó cũng là lời tri ân sâu sắc mà trường ĐH Văn Lang dành cho cậu sinh viên đáng mến của họ.

TS Hồng Hà lặng người kể lại: "Giây phút ấy tôi không bao giờ quên được, cả hội trường gần 1.500 người, bao gồm phụ huynh và sinh viên đều nghẹn ngào khi nghe xướng tên Nguyễn Đức Huy lên nhận bằng tốt nghiệp. Lúc đó, bác Nguyễn Trung Bình (cha của Huy) đi lên nhận bằng và nhìn thấy tấm hình lớn của con, bác ấy đã khóc và tất cả mọi người đã cùng khóc theo. Thời gian lúc đó dường như đứng yên để tưởng nhớ tới chàng sinh viên bạc mệnh. Sau vài phút, cha của Huy mới bình tĩnh được, sau đó ông nhận tấm bằng Kiến trúc sư của con trai từ tay Hiệu trưởng và ôm thầy, khóc nức nở..."

Người cha Nguyễn Trung Bình (áo sơ mi trắng) bật khóc trong buổi lễ nhận bằng tốt nghiệp thay con trai.

"Nếu Huy có mặt để bảo vệ thành quả của mình thì có lẽ sẽ đạt điểm rất cao. Hội đồng chấm thi cũng rất tiếc, thật sự chia buồn với gia đình. Khi cậu ấy mất, trường cũng dùng quỹ để hỗ trợ phần nào cho gia đình như một tấm lòng của nhà trường đối với sinh viên. Ngoài quan tâm đến chất lượng đào tạo ra, trường cũng mong muốn hướng tới một giá trị nhân văn để cùng sẻ chia với sinh viên, những người trẻ đầy nhiệt huyết của sự đam mê và sáng tạo". 

Nguyễn Đức Huy đã qua đời nhưng để lại nhiều ấn tượng tốt trong lòng mọi người vì niềm say mê trong học tập.

Gia đình và bạn bè đau đớn trước sự ra đi của chàng trai bạc mệnh

Chia sẻ trên Facebook, cha của Đức Huy viết: “Ngày đưa con lên Sài Gòn nhập học ba mẹ mừng vui lẫn lộn. Thời gian lặng lẽ trôi sau 5 năm đầy vất vả, không có ba mẹ cận kề một mình con tự lo cho bản thân. Chỉ còn 28 ngày nữa thôi sẽ công thành danh toại thì con lại vĩnh biệt cõi đời. Ngày đưa con lên Sài Gòn ba mẹ đã khóc thật nhiều nay đón con về ba mẹ lại khóc nhiều hơn. Con hãy an nghĩ nhé. Con vẫn luôn là đứa con trai yêu quý bé nhỏ của ba mẹ”.

Được biết, trong buổi lễ trao bằng tốt nghiệp, ngoài ông Bình (cha Huy), còn có mẹ và chị ruột cũng đến tham dự. Huy là con út trong gia đình có 3 anh chị em, sự ra đi đột ngột của cậu khiến cả nhà đau lòng khôn nguôi. Sau khi nhận bằng và đem về quê ở Long Xuyên, An Giang, ông Bình đã đem bảng điểm đốt cho con trai, bằng tốt nghiệp của con, ông lồng khung và đặt lên bàn thờ của Huy. Sau khi hỏa táng, tro cốt của Huy sẽ được đem vào một ngôi chùa ở quê nhà.

Những sinh viên có mặt trong hội trường chia sẻ rằng, đây là buổi lễ tốt nghiệp nhiều cảm xúc nhất mà họ sẽ mãi mãi không bao giờ quên. Trên facebook, rất nhiều bạn bè của Huy đã gửi những lời sau cùng đến người bạn của mình - một tân kiến trúc sư tài giỏi.

Đối với các sinh viên trường ĐH Văn Lang, người bạn này sẽ mãi trong tim họ.

Bạn bè của Huy cho hay, Huy là một người nhiệt tình, biết quan tâm, giúp đỡ bạn bè và rất yêu thương động vật. Huy luôn nhặt những chú mèo bỏ rơi ngoài đường về phòng trọ để chăm sóc và tìm chủ mới cho chúng. Huy mất vào một buổi tối sau khi làm xong đồ án tốt nghiệp, cậu có hỏi một anh khóa trên về cách bảo vệ đồ án nhưng chưa làm được gì thì đột nhiên Huy lăn ra bất tỉnh trong đêm hôm đó. Bạn bè đưa vào bệnh viện thì bác sĩ không thể cứu khỏi.

Til end of Jan 2015, Japan is the second largest foreign investors in Vietnam in direct investment form with 2,494 projects, and total registered capital of nearly 36.9 billion USD however there have been changes in the structure of the investment capital in Vietnam.  In particular, the manufacturing sector once accounted for the largest proportion of investment in Vietnam drops 30% from nearly $ 1.2 billion in 2013 to nearly 830 million 2014.  In fact, the projects in the manufacturing sector often require huge capital during a long-term investment.  In the context that Japan's economy faces difficulties as well as the global economy is not bright, the reduction of investment in the manufacturing sector is also understandable.

In indirect foreign investment in Vietnam, Japan ranks sixth in the list of countries conducting M&A in Vietnam with more focus on small or medium but long-term and potential large area.  The field of production only accounts for 10% of the total value.

However, the recent survey has shown there is a new wave of Japanese investment in other sectors such as construction, real estate, transportation or financial investment.  The report of The Japan External Trade Organization, or JETRO, a Japanese government-related organization that promotes trade and investment reflects the proportion of new investment projects in the construction, real estate increased from 3% in 2013 to 6% in 2014, while the capital had risen to 13%, compared with 2 % of a year ago.

In real estate sector, Tokyu Corporation has joined invested with Becamex IDC to develop Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City in an area of ​​over 110 hectares with a total investment of about USD 1.2 billion. Daibiru Corporation also acquired the office building Corner Stone in Hanoi with value of the deal at USD 60.1 mil.  These are example that Japanese investors recognizing the potential development of Vietnam’s changes in real estate market as the land ownership have been approved and effective from Jul 2015. As reported, M&A deals in real estate in 2014 accounted for 61% of M&A deals.

In financial investment, in 2014, Daiwa PI Partners and Vietnam Opportunity Fund of Vina Capital invested USD 45 million in the International Dairy Joint Stock Company, making foreign ownership increase to 70%.

In retail sector, Vietnam is also considered as an attractive market with growing mid-income consumer group. The largest retailer Aeon Japan after years of market research has poured more than USD 500 million for two commercial centers were opened in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and a new center in Long Bien (Hanoi).  The group also plans to expand through acquiring shares of two local supermarket being Fivimart and Citimart.

It appears that Japan is holding strong among the leading investors in Vietnam, together with Korea and Singapore.

The UK Entreprises Encouraged to Explore the Potential Market in Vietnam

In addition to improvement of the business environment in Vietnam, Deputy Foreign Minister Hugo Swire also affirmed that Vietnam and UK will plan to raise awareness for the UK investors about potential business market in Vietnam.

Talking to the press after the Vietnam - UK 4th annual strategic dialogue in Hanoi today (February 27^th), Mr. Hugo Swire said, one of the highlights of the conference is how to strengthen bilateral trade relations.  According to him, a number of the businesses of the UK have succeeded in Vietnam but the UK wants more and more enterprises to be successful in Vietnam in the future.  To do this, the improvement in business environment is one of the problems the UK stressed many times before. Mr. Hugo Swire said that transparency and openness of Vietnam are still big challenges affecting the decision for UK enterprises to invest in Vietnam.  Besides, another fact acknowledged by Mr Hugo Swire is that many businesses in the UK have not understood the potential markets in Vietnam.

Therefore, during the dialogue taken place today, he said, Vietnam and the UK have discussed a program to raise awareness of UK businesses in London to Vietnam market.  According to Mr Hugo Swire, the completion of free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU will open up many prospects to attract British investors to Set-up company in Vietnam.

"These problems, if be solved, they will bring to resonance as well as open new horizons for UK businesses to enter into Vietnam," said Deputy Foreign Minister.

Reviewing more specific about the Vietnam market, he also said, high-end consumer goods is one of the prioritized potentials for businesses of both countries.

According to him, many designers in the UK now want to introduce products to Vietnam and this may be a priority in the coming time. According to him, four other areas in which the Uk interested are education, energy, especially nuclear energy, health, transportation and infrastructure.

According to Mr Hugo Swire, a detailed plan to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries on these issues will be discussed in more detail at the annual meeting of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation in the future.

Also on bilateral cooperation, Deputy Foreign Minister said the capital of official development assistance (ODA) will end in 2016 but the UK is committed to continue the support for Vietnam by other methods.

One of the forms of assistance is Newton fund currently being deployed in Vietnam to invest in the fields of science and technology, particularly creative ideas, innovation.

According to Hugo Swire, the UK and Vietnam are still under discussion for formal cooperation framework to help the Newton fund operating efficiently. However, representatives from the UK said, one of the activities of the program is the exchange of scientists between the two countries , thus supporting the implementation of the research to develop economics and society.

Types of enterprise for foreign investors to invest in Vietnam are as following:

a)     Limited Liability Company

A limited-liability company may not issue securities to mobilize capital.

b)     Joint Stock Company

The main difference between Joint Stock Company and Limited Liability Company is the Joint Stock Company can raise funds by offering shares or securities.  In addition, an enterprise tends to join the Stock exchanges or public company must be a Joint Stock Company.  Management system of Joint Stock Company is more complicated than Liability Company.

c)     Partnership

Unlimited liability partners must be individuals who shall be liable for the obligations of the company to the extent of all of their assets.  Limited liability partners shall only be liable for the debts of the company to the extent of the amount of capital they have contributed to the company.

d)     Representative Office of foreign Trader

Representative Office is not allowed to directly conduct profit making activities in Vietnam (i.e: the execution of contracts, direct payment or receipt of funds, sale or purchase of goods, or provision of services)

e)     Branch of foreign trader

The Branch is permitted to conduct activities being the purchase and sale of goods and other commercial activities consistent with its license for establishment in accordance with the law of Vietnam and any international treaty to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member.
